Made with tuna fillet as the sole source of animal protein, Thrive Tuna Fillet Wet Kitten Food is gently cooked in fish broth and enriched with essential vitamins and minerals to provide a complete, nutritionally balanced diet for your kitten. As a complete food, it can be fed on its own.

Kittens (and cats) are obligate carnivores, meaning they have no nutritional requirement for carbohydrates such as grains (e.g. rice or wheat). For this reason, our wet kitten food is grain-free and protein-focused, containing just 0.4% carbohydrates.

Proper hydration is essential for healthy development, which is why all Thrive wet foods are made with naturally occurring “free liquid” water for optimal hydration, rather than artificial gelling agents used by some other brands. At Thrive, our philosophy is simple: “wetter is better.”

Feeding Guide

Every kitten is different, and feeding requirements will vary based on breed, size, and activity level. We recommend feeding 3–4 tins per day, adjusting as needed for your kitten’s individual needs.

Kittens typically begin eating solid food at around three weeks of age and are fully weaned by approximately eight weeks. Initially, they require small, frequent meals (about four to five per day). By around six months, most kittens can transition to two meals per day, a routine that can continue into adulthood depending on preference.
